How much do piano lessons cost?
The cost of your lesson depends on the length of the lesson. You can see our lesson options and prices here. We offer all new students one FREE introductory lesson.
Do you offer group piano lessons?
No – We only provide one-on-one lessons so that our students can benefit from having Huy Le’s attention, and can take lessons that are individually tailored to their musical goals and abilities.

You can find a full list of our terms and conditions here.
Do you travel to students’ homes to give lessons?
No – All lessons are conducted at the studio. However, this will have several benefits for you or your child, as you will have access to a large library of sheet music and a quality acoustic piano that is always maintained to performance standards and tuned twice a year. A quality instrument is necessary for students to hear and produce the best possible sound with ease.

Huy Le opened Le Piano Academy in 2002, and we’ve been providing piano lessons to Sydneysiders young and old ever since.
Who teaches the piano lessons at Le Piano Academy?
All the piano lessons at Le Piano Academy are taught by our owner, Huy Le – a qualified piano teacher with over 17 years’ experience.
My son/daughter is only 5 years old. Can they take piano lessons?
We love teaching young beginners, and welcome students as young as five. Our lessons are tailored to their individual playing level, interests, abilities, and attention span.
I want all my children to learn the piano. Am I eligible for a discount?
Yes! We offer families with 2 or more children learning the piano a 10% discount.
Do you only teach piano lessons or do you teach music theory as well?
In addition to our piano lessons, we also provide music theory tuition for AMEB exams and HSC students.
Do you teach the AMEB syllabus and prepare students for AMEB exams?
Yes we do. Huy Le has prepared over 150 students for AMEB exams – 90% of whom have achieved an A or A+ grade. None of his students have ever failed an exam.
I don’t want to learn the AMEB syllabus or classical piano. Can you still teach me?
Of course – we provide personalised piano lessons, and that means teaching you (or your child) the music you want to learn! We teach piano for leisure, and are happy to tutor you to play jazz, modern music, classical piano, or chords, chord progressions and improvisation. These options are often popular for our adult students. Read more about piano lessons for adults here.
